    Due to the high affinity with oxygen, rare-earths are hard to be refined during melting process. Based on the long term R&D, an effective process for removing rare-earth, metallic and non-metallic impurities in the alloy is well developed in BIAM. So BIAM is able to provide alloy ingots with precise composition and high purity.

    At BIAM, we take pride in our vacuum melting expertise. The vacuum melting technology has been developed in BIAM since 1960's. BIAM's vacuum induction melting installation is one of the most advanced systems in the world. This system is capable of producing 3000~3500 tons of magnet alloy ingot annually. One of our primary goals at BIAM is to continually advance master alloy technology for the ultimate benefit of our customers.
